Service Description

There are two classes to choose from on a Thursday morning: 8:45am FOUNDATIONAL FLOW: A mindful flow designed to calm the mind and wake up the body. Perfect for beginners seeking a safe space and functional movement 9:45am SUPPORTED & ACCESSIBLE MOVEMENT: Movement for Everyone. Ideal for those with limited range of motion or anyone who prefers the support of chairs, blocks, and bolsters.

Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Payment Payment is required at the time of booking via our online booking system or cash on arrival. 8-Class Pass: This pass is valid for 8 weeks from the date of the first session used. 2. Cancellations & Refunds General Classes: As hall hire and planning are based on numbers, a minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking. Refunds: Cancellations made with more than 12 hours' notice will receive a credit toward a future class. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice (or "no-shows") are non-refundable. Pass Holders: One "emergency" late cancellation is permitted per 5-class pass. Subsequent late cancellations will result in the session being forfeited from the pass. 3. Health & Safety Physical Readiness: All new participants must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) prior to their first session. Injuries/Conditions: Please inform Alicia before the class starts of any new injuries, medical conditions, or if you are pregnant, so movements can be modified for your safety. Prenatal Participants: While the 8:45 am class is foundational, I highly recommend our specialized Thursday Prenatal sessions for pregnancy-specific support. 4. Arrival & Equipment Timing: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. To maintain a mindful environment for all, the doors will close promptly at the start of the session. Equipment: For Foundational Flow, please bring your own yoga mat. For Supported Movement, chairs and blocks are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own pillow or blanket for extra comfort. 5. Class Cancellations by Facilitator In the unlikely event that Alicia needs to cancel a class (e.g., illness or hall unavailability), you will be notified via the Glenbervie Yoga and Movement Facebook Group and SMS as soon as possible. You will receive a full refund or a credit for a future session.
