1.1 Use of Services

All classes, sessions, and materials provided by Empowered Authenticity Ltd. are for educational and self-help purposes only. Services are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. Always consult with your doctor, LMC, or a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, particularly during pregnancy.

1.2 Health Waiver & PAR-Q

All clients booking Prenatal Yoga or any Mindful Movement class must complete the mandatory Pre-Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) prior to participation. Failure to complete the PAR-Q prior to class may result in a delayed start to your session while we process your safety information. To ensure your full class time, please complete this upon booking.

1.3 Scope of Coaching

Empowerment Mentoring is non-clinical life and mindset coaching. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health conditions. Our focus is on practical strategies, goal setting, and promoting confidence and empowerment.

1.4 Aqua Natal Classes (Pool-Based):

• Facility Rules: All participants must follow the safety signage and lifeguard instructions at the Whangārei Aquatic Centre.

• Hygiene: To maintain water quality, a brief shower is required before entering the pool.

• Attire: Please wear appropriate maternity swimwear. For safety, glass water bottles are strictly prohibited on the pool deck.

2. Cancellation & Booking Policy (Yoga & Mentoring)

This policy protects your reserved spot and respects the instructor's schedule.

2.1 Casual Prenatal Yoga Classes & Online Classes 

To ensure fairness, we require tiered notice for cancellations:

• More than 24 Hours Notice: You will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

• Between 2 and 24 Hours Notice: You will receive a full credit to your account, which can be applied toward a future class booking. Refunds are not issued for cancellations within this window.

• Less than 2 Hours Notice: The class fee is non-refundable. This includes all No-Shows (failure to attend the scheduled class).

Note: Specialised services like Aqua Natal may have extended cancellation windows as noted on their specific booking pages.

2.2 Concession Card Policy

Concession cards offer flexibility and value for those committed to their wellness journey. By purchasing a 5-session or 8-session pass, you agree to the following:

• Flexibility & Use: Specialised concession cards (e.g., the Maternity & Beyond Pass) are "multi-use." Credits can be used interchangeably for Prenatal Yoga, Aqua Natal, and Postnatal/Future Mums & Bubs classes.

• Non-Transferable: Concession cards are assigned to your individual member profile. Sessions cannot be shared with, or transferred to, other individuals.

• Expiry Period: To encourage consistent practice and clear accounting, all concession cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any sessions not used within this 12-month window will expire and are non-refundable.

• The Postnatal Transition: If you have sessions remaining on a specialised pass at the time of your baby’s birth, these credits remain valid for use toward your Postnatal recovery sessions once you have received medical clearance to return to exercise.

2.3 Exceptions (Health & Safety)

We understand that pregnancy is unpredictable. If you need to cancel due to an unexpected, urgent medical issue related to your pregnancy, please contact Alicia directly as soon as possible. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.​

3. Empowered Through Threads (Shop Policy)

Our merchandise is custom-printed just for you.

​

• Custom Orders: Due to the nature of our print-on-demand/drop-shipping model, we do not offer exchanges or returns for buyer's remorse (e.g., ordering the wrong size or change of mind). Please consult the sizing guides carefully before ordering.

• Damaged/Defective Goods: We will process returns or replacements only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or if you received the incorrect item/size due to a printer error. Please contact us within [7 days] of receiving your order with photographic proof.

4. Privacy Policy (Data Collection)

• What We Collect: We collect personal information (name, email, phone number, payment details, and health information via the PAR-Q form) necessary for booking and safe instruction.

• How We Use It: This data is used solely to process your bookings, manage your payments (via Wix/Stripe/PayPal), provide personalized instruction, communicate class updates, and send requested marketing materials (if consented).

• Security: Your payment data is handled securely by our third-party processors (Wix Payments/Stripe/PayPal). Your health data (PAR-Q) is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties, except as required for collaboration purposes (e.g., if collaborating with a midwife who is required to see a summary) - in this case, you will be contacted beforehand to ensure that you are aware of this.

• Marketing Consent: We will only send promotional emails if you have explicitly opted in to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time.
